Preparing Yourself Spiritually
In mid-November, resources to help you prepare yourself spiritually for Staff Conference 20 (SC20) will be posted. You may feel prompted to do some spiritual preparation during the weeks leading up to the conference. The spiritual practices you choose to engage can help to ready you for our times of prayer together.
Revival Prayer
Meetings
There will be five optional prayer meetings in the schedule at SC20: three in the morning and two in the afternoon. This will be a chance to long for revival together, so we encourage you to consider joining one of them.
Prayer Spaces for Response and Reflection
After a morning of worship, Scripture, and prayer together, the afternoon session on January 4th will provide a variety of opportunities to respond and reflect as God leads. Some of us will want to continue what we began that morning with more prayer together, while others may want to participate in an individual prayer activity, an artistic expression, or a physical response that embodies our longing for the Lord to bring revival.
January 4th:
Prayer and Fasting Day
The 2030 Calling is an invitation to trust God together. We long to see God fulfill his mission as we abide in Jesus and he in us. The posture of abiding is fundamentally humble and dependent, like a branch abiding in the vine. In his Upper Room Discourse (John 13-17), Jesus teaches his disciples how he designed for his relationship with them to be one of intimate dependence. At SC20 we will pursue that same intimacy with Jesus as we humble ourselves through fasting and praying together.
